The owner at Mango Tree Homestay & Ijen Tour is incredibly helpful and sweet. He speaks excellent English and assisted us in planning our trips to Banyuwangi and the surrounding areas. We took a tour to Ijen mountain to witness the mesmerizing blue fire and went to Sukamade Beach to see turtles laying eggs. The owner also arranged our transport to Bali seamlessly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast provided was delicious. We felt that we truly got great value for our money. We highly recommend Mango Tree Homestay & Ijen Tour!

I had a fantastic time staying at a cozy homestay in Banyuwangi. the owner, Arif, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, even driving us to a nice restaurant. the room was comfortable, with air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. Our main reason for visiting Banyuwangi was to see the Ijen crater, and Arif organized a tour for us at a much lower price than other tour operators. the homestay also had a laundry service and friendly staff. it was an authentic and enjoyable experience, especially for coffee lovers like me, with the nearby coffee plantations and Arabusta bean. Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about my stay. 👍.

Great value for money! The location was convenient, with easy access to the center and nearby restaurants. The staff were helpful and accommodating, providing us with useful tips and recommendations for exploring the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast they served every day.
The language barrier was a challenge when it came to finding places to eat, as the locals didn't speak English. Also, the bathroom layout was not ideal, with the drain across the shower/toilet area, resulting in a constantly wet floor.
